Administration of the foundation  

Decisions on the policies of the foundation are made by an executive board with representation from the university's administration and schools as well as a number of national industrial organisations, business representative and the Cities of Lappeenranta and Imatra. Practical work is headed by a working committee which accepts donations and awards grants based on applications submitted to it.
