Administration of the foundation  

Decisions on the policies of the foundation are made by an executive board with representation from the university's administration and departments as well as a number of national industrial organisations and the City of Lappeenranta. Practical work is headed by a working committee which meets monthly to accept donations and award grants based on applications submitted to it.
